The 776cc DOHC parallel-twin engine employs 270-degree crankshaft timing with the industry-exclusive Suzuki Cross Balancer to deliver a smooth, torque-rich experience. The V-STROM 800DE Adventure is ideal for riders who desire more power than a 650cc engine can deliver and does so in an economical and reliable way.
The rugged steel backbone frame takes advantage of the engine's compact size, resulting in a chassis that is nimble and stable on paved roads or dirt trails. The long, inverted fork is fully adjustable, as is the rear shock absorber that employs a remote, hand-operated hydraulic spring preload adjuster so tuning for a passenger or cargo takes just seconds. Go ahead, take what you need in the included 37L, black-anodized aluminum panniers.
A full-color, 5-inch TFT multifunction instrument panel provides the rider access and on-the-fly control over the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) suite of advanced electronic control systems that include the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, the Suzuki Traction Control System, and Suzuki's Bi-Directional Quick Shift system. The V-STROM 800DE Adventure's S.I.R.S. features a new GRAVEL Traction Control* mode and rear ABS** that can be switched off for off-road riding.

CHASSIS
Designed around the new, compact parallel twin engine and constructed with rugged steel pipe, the V-STROM 800DE's backbone style frame was engineered to provide the strength needed for excellent straight-line stability and nimble handling when negotiating rugged trails or touring at highway speeds.
ELECTRICAL
The V-STROM 800DE Adventure's instrument panel uses a full-color 5-inch, color TFT screen. This high-quality instrument panel is set into the upper fairing above the handlebars, for good visibility and protection from road debris. The TFT panel, itself, features a scratch-resistant surface, and an anti-reflective coating that improves visibility in bright light. The brightness adjustable TFT display delivers a wide range of useful information, keeping the rider fully aware of all the bike's systems, settings, and real-time operating status.
